Well it's a new year, even though it's just another day(s), it symbolizes new ways to challenge myself and keep studying. I started with a portrait study of Charlize Theron from "Atomic Blonde" . I love the colors used in that movie. The next day I did an animal study digital painting. I don't do a lot of animal studies, but I've been watching some drawing session videos of the fantastic Aaron Blaise. Super inspiring and made me want to do some animal drawing. Included is a video of my process of portrait painting in procreate. I do mostly painting with just a light sketch of the face and go from there. Here's to keeping up the creative momentum.
